Information Technology Support Specialist

Pay Range: $45,000-$55,000 (commensurate with experience) Position Overview Ironhorn Enterprises is seeking a reliable and hands‑on IT Support Specialist to support our growing team in East Syracuse. This role focuses on day‑to‑day technology support, including workstation setup, troubleshooting, and assisting with key systems and vendors. Key Responsibilities Set up and configure employee workstations (hardware and software), including laptops, desktops, monitors, and peripherals Provide day‑to‑day technical support to employees, troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices Assist with software setup and integration with company systems Support user account setup and access management, including Google Workspace Provide basic administration and support for Google Workspace tools (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, etc.) Serve as a point of contact for phone and internet services through Northland Communications, coordinating with vendors as needed Assist with maintaining office technology, including Wi‑Fi, printers, and device connectivity Support onboarding and offboarding of employees from an IT perspective Assist with purchasing and tracking IT equipment and subscriptions Document common issues and solutions to improve support processes Qualifications 0–2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or a similar role (internship experience considered) Experience or familiarity with: Windows macOS Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware and software (with a willingness to learn) Basic understanding of Wi‑Fi connectivity, printers, and general device communication Familiarity with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365 Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset Ability to work independently while knowing when to elevate issues Core Competencies Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively with non‑technical users in a patient and professional manner Service‑oriented mindset with a focus on responsiveness and follow‑through Willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment Preferred Qualifications Experience in a small to mid‑size business environment Exposure to vendor coordination or external service providers Interest in growing into a broader IT or systems role Compensation Salary range: $45,000 – $55,000, commensurate with experience Why Join Ironhorn Be part of a rapidly growing company with a collaborative team environment Opportunity to grow into a more advanced IT role over time Exposure to multiple areas of the business and leadership Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Ironhorn Enterprises is an equal opportunity employer.
