The facility is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine Physician to join its medical team in Shelton, CT. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity. Fresh graduates and recent residents are encouraged to apply!
Essential Position Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive, compassionate care to patients across a wide range of health needs.
- Conduct thorough evaluations, develop individualized care plans, and manage ongoing treatment.
- Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe appropriate medications and therapies.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless and coordinated patient care.
- Promote preventive health measures and patient education to encourage long-term wellness.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation within the electronic medical record system.
- Participate in quality initiatives and continuous improvement efforts to enhance clinical outcomes.
Qualifications
- Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Licensure & Certification: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine; eligible for Connecticut medical licensure.
- Experience: Prior clinical experience preferred, but new graduates and residents are welcome to apply.
