About The Role At Wonder, we want to make world‑class food within reach, no matter where you live. As a Shift Supervisor, you oversee kitchen operations to ensure top‑notch food quality and service. Role Details Pay Rate: $21.00 Overnight shifts include an additional $2.00/hour premium, automatically applied to hours worked between 12:00 AM and 5:00 AM Job Location: Commack Position Type: Full‑time and Part‑time Responsibilities Lead the restaurant team in all aspects of service, including opening, prep, and closing duties Collaborate with the chef leadership team and other departments to ensure guests receive the highest quality service Receive and process all kitchen orders and deliveries in line with company protocol Maintain communication with staff to ensure adequate stock and assist with supplies and ordering Ensure safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices are followed across all back‑of‑house areas and in line with cleaning schedules Monitor kitchen operational costs and ensure budget guidelines are followed Ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely, securely and is in full working order Conduct briefings with front and back‑of‑house staff before and after service Meet all operating and quality standards Exhibit a professional and ethical leadership style at all times Participate in training, coaching, and development of restaurant employees Qualifications At least 1 year of experience supervising or leading team members in a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) or full‑service restaurant Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast‑paced environment Attention to detail and strong drive for efficiency and accuracy Demonstrates professionalism and adherence to policies and procedures Effective verbal and written communication skills Strong team player Requirements Must be 21 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S. Must be able to lift 50 pounds Must be able to stand for an entire shift while working Must have open availability, including nights and weekends Food Manager Certificate as required by State, County or Local Health Departments Note: Some benefits vary by state and depend on the number of hours you work.
