Take on a vital role supporting students across several campuses as a School Psychologist in the Frisco, TX area. This contract opportunity offers a chance to work onsite, making a tangible impact within a supportive school environment. You’ll partner with educators and families to support elementary and high school caseloads, attending to students’ social, emotional, and academic needs.
What you’ll do:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and manage multiple Full Individual Evaluations (FIEs), serving as the case manager throughout the process
- Attend Student Support Team (SST) meetings and secure informed consent for FIEs
- Present evaluation results at Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings
- Maintain compliance by ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to timelines set by district and state guidelines
- Liaise with special education staff, campus leaders, teachers, and families for coordinated student support
- Travel among approximately 3–4 assigned campuses within the district (onsite position only)
Desired qualifications:
- Current, active Texas School Psychologist license
- Demonstrated, recent experience in a school-based environment
- Strong background in conducting and managing FIEs
- Excellent multitasking abilities to handle simultaneous evaluations and deadlines
- Organized, detail-oriented professional ready to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Reliable transportation to facilitate travel between campuses
