IDR is seeking a Technical Writer to join one of our top clients in Lawrenceville, GA . This role involves crafting comprehensive technical documentation to support the development and use of our client's computing systems. Position Overview & Responsibilities for the Technical Writer: Collaborate with end users to define business procedures and create technical documentation for hardware and software. Plan, design, research, write, and edit a variety of documents, including user guides, manuals, technical specifications, and training materials. Establish and maintain documentation standards to ensure accuracy and consistency across all materials. Engage with multiple teams to understand specific products and provide necessary training. Required Skills for the Technical Writer: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in technical writing, with a preference for 4 years. Degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. Proficiency in documenting IT software and systems. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with end users and cross-functional teams.
