We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Technician to join our dynamic team. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment, assisting in various surgical procedures, and ensuring a sterile and safe operating room environment.

Shift Details

• Shift Length: 10 hours
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Schedule: 4x10 variable days (Monday to Friday) with start times at 6:30 AM, 9:00 AM, or 11:00 AM
• Call: As needed

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures by preparing and maintaining the sterile field.
• Effectively scrub for a variety of cases including GYN, Vascular, Plastic, Ortho, Neuro, Cardiovascular, Respiratory, General, and more.
• Utilize robotic surgical systems, specifically the Davinci Xi.
• Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care.
• Participate in in-service training and team meetings as scheduled.

Qualifications

• 1 year of scrubbing experience in an operating room setting.
• Required Certifications: BLS Certification and a valid Washington State license.
• Graduate of an accredited surgical tech program.
• Experience with specific procedures such as ENT surgeries (FESS, septoplasty, cochlear implants, tympanoplasty) and general surgeries (thyroid/parathyroid).
• Davinci XI experience is required.

Additional Information

• Average number of cases per day: 50-65.
• Orientation includes a two-day program with a surgical tech and HR/leadership introductions.
• Access to a call room is provided, with a call response time of 30 minutes.
• Scrub color: Teal (scrubs provided).
• Weeknight call and weekend call are rotated among staff and travelers.
• This position may involve bringing your own earphones for online training during orientation.
• Physicians and team members are supportive and eager to provide guidance.
