NOW HIRING – 15 COMMERCIAL Sheet Metal Installers

We are excited to offer experienced Sheet Metal Installers long-term work (7-9 months ) with plenty of OT (10 hr days/up to 6 days per week) for large commercial construction projects.

Must have 5+ years of experience installing HVAC duct systems and related sheet metal components on new commercial construction and renovation projects.

We seek dependable, safety-focused professionals who can work efficiently with minimal supervision.

Out of town candidates may qualify for $100 PerDiem

Responsibilities

• Install commercial HVAC ductwork including rectangular, spiral, and round duct systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and mechanical plans
• Measure, cut, assemble, and hang sheet metal duct systems
• Install VAV boxes, dampers, hangers, supports, and related HVAC components
• Seal and insulate ductwork as required
• Perform layout and field fabrication when necessary
• Ensure all installations meet project specifications and local building codes
• Work safely from ladders, lifts, and scaffolding
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures
• Coordinate with foremen, project managers, and other trades to keep projects moving

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial sheet metal / HVAC duct installation experience REQUIRED
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and mechanical plans
• Experience installing commercial HVAC duct systems and related components
• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, duct layout, and installation practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in varying jobsite conditions
• Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred

• Aviation snips (left, right, and straight)
• Sheet metal snips
• Hammer / sheet metal hammer
• Screwdrivers (Phillips and flathead)
• Nut drivers
• Adjustable wrench
• Channel locks / pliers
• Needle nose pliers
• Utility knife
• Torpedo level
• Speed square
• Marker / pencils
• Allen keys / hex set
• Tool pouch or bag
• Cordless drill or impact driver
• Sawzall

Work Environment

• Commercial construction jobsites
• Indoor and outdoor work conditions
• Overtime, weekends, and occasional travel may be required depending on project needs
• Out of town candidates may qualify for $100 Per Diem
