Description: This position requires working 3 shifts of 12 hours each with alternating weekends. The department will strive to maintain the same start times each week. The patient ratio is 4:1. Daily census will be approximately 16 patients. The nursing staff will care for patients across various age groups, including neonates, adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, social services, pharmacy, and others. Skills required include management of complex conditions such as acute psychosis, drug overdose, and trauma. Nurses will manage emergency situations, administer medications, and perform necessary procedures like intubation and central line management. This role requires strong communication and teamwork to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
