Accounting Supervisor, Affordable Housing We are seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor for our affordable housing portfolio, exceeding 15,000 units, based in Greensboro, NC, and reporting to the Controller. This role manages property accounting for numerous properties, collaborating with property managers, directors, residents, and vendors to ensure accurate, timely, and complete financial execution. Qualifications Three to five years of direct management experience in an accounting role strongly preferred Knowledge of accounting in the multi-family property management industry is preferred Advanced level knowledge with MS Office Suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel (including Excel functions) Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Creates a climate in which associates want to do their best by leading and communicating a shared vision with associates and providing coaching and development Prior experience in ResMan software or other property management system a plus Abridged Primary Responsibilities Supervises the Accounting Department, responsible for: Accounts payable and reserve processing Bank reconciliations Move-out dispositions/refunds Vendor Management (W-9s and 1099 requirements) Security deposit audit/analysis Additional Information - Background, criminal and drug testing are required to secure employment.
