Step into a fulfilling contract role supporting students across two school settings as an onsite Occupational Therapist. Working 35 hours each week from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, you'll be instrumental in fostering growth, independence, and success for students with varying abilities.

Requirements:

• Valid and current Occupational Therapist (OT) Certificate required before start date
• Previous experience working with children or adolescents in school settings is highly desirable
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with educators, staff, and families
• Capable of managing and prioritizing responsibilities across multiple sites
• Special interest or expertise in supporting both high school and elementary-aged students preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct OT services and implement individualized therapy plans for students, focusing on their educational and developmental goals
• Conduct assessments, document findings, and create reports in alignment with school and district guidelines
• Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and parents to develop and adjust interventions
• Support students in developing fine motor skills, sensory processing abilities, and adaptive strategies for classroom participation
• Provide consultation and training to school staff regarding best practices for student support
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation for all services provided
• Manage caseload across two local school campuses
