We are seeking an experienced Residential Project Manager to oversee custom home builds, additions, renovations, and other residential construction projects throughout Tampa/St. Petersburg.

Position Summary

The Residential Project Manager is responsible for managing residential construction projects from preconstruction through final completion. This individual will oversee budgets, schedules, subcontractors, material procurement, and homeowner communication to ensure every project is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to Fox Building Group’s quality standards.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, solutions-oriented, and committed to providing an exceptional experience for homeowners throughout every phase of construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple residential construction projects simultaneously.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts.
• Coordinate project startup, subcontractor scheduling, material procurement, and deliveries.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners throughout the construction process.
• Lead meetings with clients, architects, designers, subcontractors, and field personnel.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentation.
• Prepare and manage RFIs, change orders, selections, and project documentation.
• Monitor project budgets and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Partner closely with Superintendents and field staff to maintain project quality and schedules.
• Resolve project challenges quickly while maintaining strong client relationships.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, local building codes, and company procedures.
• Manage project closeout, punch lists, warranty items, and final homeowner walkthroughs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential construction project management experience.
• Experience managing custom homes, major renovations, additions, or luxury residential projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of residential construction methods, scheduling, and estimating.
• Experience managing project budgets, contracts, and financial reporting.
• Ability to read and interpret residential construction plans and specifications.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software (Buildertrend, CoConstruct, or Procore experience is a plus).
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel to project sites throughout Florida.

• Outdoor living spaces and exterior renovations
