Supply Chain Analyst

Supply Chain Data AnalystAs a Supply Chain Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to our supply chain operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, providing insights to help optimize our global supply chain.Responsibilities include:Own and understand end-to-end demand planning and forecasting requirements and processes.Develop and maintain data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources using SQL and Python.Develop and maintain databases, dashboards, and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data, and provide recommendations for process improvements.Drive automation projects on an aggressive timeline with a team of world-class engineers and designers.Develop and maintain a well-coordinated internal relationship with cross-functional teams, including operations, logistics, and engineering, to best understand business needs and develop data-driven solutions.Develop and implement data visualization tools to communicate complex data insights to stakeholders.Manage inventory control reorder point levels within MRP system based on historical data and production planning activity.Minimize material shortages to ensure production schedule is not negatively impacted.Minimize financial impact of inventory.Collaborate with other departments to maintain/improve cross functional communication and decision making.Develop and implement strategies to improve work in process aging.Ascertain root cause and implement preventative measures for material shortages.Take a proactive approach to identify and resolve inventory control issues before they occur.Improve and maintain the integrity of material data within an MRP system.Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives related to supply chain.Other duties as requiredQualifications:Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience within an analytically focused discipline.5 to 7 years related experienceStrong analytical skills, applicable to supply chain measurement and business process improvement.3+ SQL, Python, Proficiency in pandas, NumPy, and other Python libraries for data manipulation and analysisStatistical forecasting experienceBig Tech, Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI, DashboardingHigh level of proficiency using Excel & Word.Strong knowledge of MRP and Inventory Control practices.Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.Strong business process improvement & change management skills.Comfort in communicating with individuals at all levels of the organization.Understanding of financial impacts of supply chain management / business decisions.Any related certification would be an asset.Preferred Qualifications:Experience ERP Systems preferred.Experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred.Experience in aerospace industry is preferred.Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.The employee is responsible to maintain fitness-for-duty while holding the above-described position and should be able to perform the essential tasks of the position in a safe, appropriate and effective manner.
