Job Summary:
- The Contingent Change Management Engineer serves as Administrative Support to the Change Management Engineer (CME) as the CME is the air traffic controller of all changes coming into the Manufacturing/Production world, assuring that everything is complete, concise and parts are here to seamlessly incorporate the change into Operations. It is a cross functional position with knowledge of the transition of an Engineered Design into Manufacturing Documentation and Processes.
- 3+ years' experience in change management for manufactured product.
- Creating change notice tasks.
- Updating and maintaining the controlled copy log.
- Executing manufacturing bill of material updates.
- Costing requests.
- Metrics reporting for change management (example: OCO (Operations Change Order) status (weekly, monthly, yearly).
- The creation and management of written change management procedures and other supporting tasks for the Change Management Engineer.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and an effective communicator.
- Experience with SAP-MBP, Windchill, familiarity with Bill of materials, Planning, and Change Management in an Operations/Factory environment is required.
- Knowledge of manufacturing document requirements.
- Clearly communicate problems to appropriate personnel/departments/functions and aid in the resolution of the issue.
- Broad understanding of business systems, organizational culture, and behaviors.
- Treat unexpected circumstances as opportunities to learn and adopt new techniques.
- Respond effectively to unpredictable or unexpected events.
