Forklift Operator

Job Description

Hire Up Staffing is seeking experienced and dependable Forklift Operators to join a busy distribution center in Lancaster, TX . The Forklift Operator will safely move pallets and materials throughout the facility, load and unload trailers, and support daily warehouse and production operations.


This is a fast-paced, physical position requiring strong attention to safety, accuracy, and productivity.

Location: Lancaster, TX
Pay: $20.00/HR

Shift Options

• Day Shift: 4:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• Evening Shift: 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM

What You'll Do

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently throughout the distribution center
• Move pallets and materials to designated areas
• Load and unload customer trailers
• Position forks and lifting equipment properly under or around loaded pallets
• Lift, transport, unload, and stack materials
• Assist with pallet sorting and other warehouse duties as needed
• Follow all forklift safety procedures and company guidelines
• Maintain expected productivity and performance standards
• Complete required paperwork and records accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding daily operations
• Work overtime when required

Requirements

• Current forklift certification is required
• Previous forklift experience preferred
• Ability to safely operate a forklift for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Basic math, reading, writing, and computer skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Must be willing to work flexible schedules and mandatory overtime
• Must be able to pass an accurate background check and drug screen
