Part-Time Spanish-Speaking Housekeeper - Private Manhattan Residence

A household of three professionals is seeking a Part-time Housekeeper fto work 2-3 days a week at their Manhattan residence. They are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Housekeeper to support the daily care, organization, and presentation of the home. This role is ideal for a polished and self-motivated professional with prior experience working in luxury residences or high-end hospitality environments. The ideal candidate is organized, discreet, proactive, and capable of maintaining high housekeeping standards while respecting the residents' schedules, routines, and privacy.


Primary Responsibilities

• Perform detailed daily housekeeping and upkeep of the residence


• Maintain bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living areas to impeccable standards


• Care for fine furnishings, delicate fabrics, specialty surfaces, and decorative finishes


• Brass polishing and maintenance of hardware and fixtures


• Full laundry and wardrobe care including washing, ironing, steaming, folding, and closet organization


• Make beds, refresh linens, and maintain organized storage spaces


• Organize wardrobes, vanities, pantries, and household areas


• Monitor household inventory and communicate restocking needs


• Identify household maintenance or organizational issues proactively and communicate them promptly to the appropriate person


• Coordinate and provide access to vendors and service providers, and oversee their work while they are in the residence


• Assist with maintaining a clean, calm, and guest-ready environment


• Coordinate respectfully with residents, vendors, and building staff as needed


• Handle all household matters with professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality


Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in private homes, luxury residences, or high-end hospitality environments • Strong knowledge of garment care, laundry, and care of luxury household finishes


• Spanish and English speaker

Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail


• Ability to work independently and anticipate household needs


• Comfortable identifying concerns, taking initiative, and communicating professionally


• Professional, polished, and service-oriented demeanor


• Strong communication skills and positive attitude


• Flexible and adaptable mindset


• Excellent verifiable references required


• Legally authorized to work in the United States
