Key Responsibilities: * Provide outstanding customer service to all residents, family members, responsible persons, and visitors of residents in the community * Clean all rooms assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor * Ensure all bathrooms are cleaned completely, including toilet bowl, sinks, bathtubs/showers; countertops, mirrors and sterilization of the floor. * Ensure clean kitchen areas, including counters, under counters, mopping the kitchen floor * Ensure all surfaces are dusted while at the same time caring for residents' belongings * Assist with housekeeping tasks as needed including vacuuming all exposed areas and washing inside of windows when necessary * Clean all common areas, including but not limited to: halls, landings, stairs, activity areas, show kitchens, lobbies, elevators, offices and model apartments * Clean vacant apartments as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor * Ensure cleanliness of public restrooms * Properly use and maintain housekeeping and laundry carts at all times * Wash and dry all laundry, including resident's personal laundry using appropriate products and following resident instructions in cooperation with Laundry Attendant as may be applicable * Follow emergency procedures when chemicals are accidently misused * Understand the practices surrounding proper handling of biohazardous waste * Maintain a clean laundry room and store chemicals in accordance with proper procedures * Deliver clean linens to floors and residences as directed * Assist in garbage removal and snow removal as directed * Carry out other duties as assigned.
