Our campus includes a well-stocked cafeteria, a fully equipped gym, and unlimited free coffee! Maintenance Technician Role Summary:The Maintenance Technician for our Machine/Facilities Maintenance Dept. to assist with routine and preventive needs within our Manufacturing and service shops. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a good knowledge of basic Electric and able to work independently or assist in team projects. Accountability and reliability are a must in this role.The schedule for a Maintenance Technician will generally be 7:00AM - 3:30PM, Monday-Friday. Some flexibility is required. Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:Perform various types of Maintenance duties, such as Electrical maintenance, mechanical repairs, and general building repairsOperating and possible minor repairs of machinery in a safe and appropriate mannerMaintaining of all equipment both on and off the groundsDay-to-day general maintenance duties as assignedInterior maintenance may also be requested (patching walls, painting, staining, etc.) Other Skills/Qualifications:Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record5 years' experience in Electrical, Plumbing, and/or CarpentryHigh School diploma or equivalentBasic computer skills required in order to use a laptop and a smart phone for diagnostic tools, service manual reviews, and completion of work orders/time entryPositive attitude to work in conjunction with our team in a dynamic paced environmentAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Strong organizational skills and ability to handle more than one task at any given time while possible interruptions may occur during the dayWorks both indoors and outdoorsWears appropriate protective clothing and equipment including gloves, safety glasses and ear protection when necessary Full Job Description: For a complete job description and list of responsibilities, please visit our career page at About Brayman Construction & Affiliates:We are a leading heavy civil and geotechnical contractor with office headquarters in suburban Pittsburgh, and a southern office in Wytheville, Virginia. This position may also entail project site work at night and on weekends on an as needed basis.
