The senior accountant is responsible for applying accounting principles to analyze financial information; designing and ensuring appropriate accounting controls; developing procedures to update financial systems; and, preparing financial reports and statements.

Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly, quarterly and annual accounts

Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures

Prepare financial management reports

Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close

Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities

Continuous management and support of budget and forecast activities

Financial audit preparation and coordinate the audit process with internal and external auditors

Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses

Analyze and advise on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments and future revenues

Analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, provide strategic recommendations and maintain solutions to business and financial problems

Ad Hoc reporting as needed

Other duties as assigned

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

2-5 years of experience

CPA and/or MBA (a plus)

Ability to deal with exceptional issues

Salary Range: $75,325.00 - $125,500.00
