Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations.Responsibilities:Monitor patient's condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and adviceObserve and interpret patient's symptoms and communicate them to physiciansPerform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.)Perform skilled charting via the point click care charting systemAdjust and administer patient's medication and provide treatments according to physician's ordersMaintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds etc.)Provide instant medical care in emergenciesSupervise nursing assistantsFoster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for residents and their familiesExpand knowledge and capabilities by attending monthly in-servicesThe Avenue at Macedonia is a post-hospital rehabilitation and skilled nursing care facility that offers a distinctive environment not commonly found in skilled nursing facilities.
