Sample Custodian - Eurofins Environment Testing South Central, Stafford, TX

Job Description Eurofins Environment Testing South Central is looking for a Sample Custodian in Stafford, TX. This role will oversee all the different aspects of shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and logging samples. It also serves as a back up driver as needed. Responsibilities Assist and oversee shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and logging samples. Prepare samples from processing. Accepts and signs for deliveries. Assist in unloading shipments from delivery truck. Use dollies, forklifts, and other moving equipment to transport shipments from loading dock and around Sample Receiving area. Open coolers and inspect contents of shipments. Check documentation to ensure all samples are accounted for. Distribute samples to different departments as appropriate. Follow strict safety and quality control procedures. Store, restock, and shelve samples as necessary. Ensure that work area is clean and organized. Enter records in LIMS system. Compensation: $20/hour. This is a part-time position Tuesday to Friday from 4 pm to 1 am. Training will take place Tuesday and Thursday at 8 AM to 1 PM and Wednesday and Friday start at 4 pm.
