Electrophysiology RN

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift, 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30), Monday - Friday. Float required as needed.

The Electrophysiology RN will play a crucial role in delivering direct patient care within the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab and related areas. This position requires advanced nursing skills to ensure high-quality, safe, and effective patient outcomes during procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in diagnostic and interventional procedures while maintaining strict aseptic techniques.
• Prepare and manage EP-specific equipment for accurate diagnostic assessments.
• Provide continuous patient care in the Catheterization Lab Holding area, supporting efficient coordination of care.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, physicians, and families to promote inclusive patient-centered care.
• Utilize physiologic monitoring and EP-specific monitoring systems to assess patient conditions during procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrophysiology nursing.
• Current BLS, ACLS, RCIS, and RCES certifications are required.
• Experience in arrhythmia induction, cardioversion, and AICD insertion/programming.
• Preferred experience in cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, and conduction studies.
