The center features state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment and therapeutic modalities, alongside a team of interdisciplinary professionals dedicated to providing comprehensive care. A typical workweek consists of 40 hours, with the possibility of variable weekend shifts, ensuring that we meet the needs of our patients.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients with diverse functional limitations and disabilities.Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans to address specific patient needs, ensuring adherence to professional standards and applicable laws.Utilize effective communication to collaborate with physicians, healthcare providers, and interdisciplinary team members for comprehensive patient care.Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and ensuring timely communication of updates to the involved healthcare team.Participate in community outreach efforts, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and lead training sessions for staff on best practices in patient care.Supervise and mentor support staff, enhancing the overall efficiency of the rehabilitation department.Patient Population / Client FocusOur physical therapists at Mindful Physical Therapy work with a diverse range of individuals, including those recovering from surgery, managing chronic conditions, and addressing sports-related injuries. Our patient population reflects the vibrant community of Fort Myers Beach, allowing us to tailor our services to meet the specific cultural and demographic needs of our clients. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment for patients of all ages and backgrounds, ensuring that each individual receives personalized attention and care.QualificationsA Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.Must possess a current valid State License in Physical Therapy.BLS Certification is mandatory for maintaining patient safety and care standards.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective collaboration within the healthcare team.Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic word processing is required.Preferred ExperienceCandidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience in physical therapy, particularly in a rehabilitation center setting, will be preferred. Previous experience working with patients of varied backgrounds and conditions, as well as familiarity with patient-centered care models, will be advantageous.Compensation and BenefitsMindful Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
