Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Surveillance in Plainfield, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting site operations. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed04:00 PM - 12:00 AMThur04:00 PM - 12:00 AMSat08:00 AM - 04:00 PMSun08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notification procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of utility operations areas, buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions. Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor credentials, and maintain accurate logs and incident reports. Communicate professionally with site personnel, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, observations, and operational concerns. Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
