Job Description\n Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel nurse RN Long Term Care (LTC) Long Term Care for a travel nursing job in Lewiston, Maine.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Long Term Care\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 10/05/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 24 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, nights\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Registered Nurse (RN)Job Summary\n The Registered Nurse (RN) collaborates with residents and healthcare providers to establish a safe and supportive therapeutic environment by delivering both direct and indirect patient care.Unit Descriptions\n \n 3 East: A 31-bed specialized unit focused on residents with Alzheimer's and dementia. This unit prioritizes tailored care that involves both verbal and non-verbal communication techniques to address challenging behaviors and validate residents' needs in a home-like environment.\n Transitional Rehabilitation Unit: A 42-bed unit offering short-term skilled nursing and rehabilitation services for patients recovering from fractures, joint replacements, back surgeries, strokes, and other conditions. Services include IV therapy, wound care, and geriatric assessment and management.\n 3 West: A 42-bed long-term care unit dedicated to providing supportive care in a home-like environment for residents requiring extended placement.\n Job Requirements\n \n Education: Associate's degree in Nursing.\n Licensure: Valid State of Maine or compact RN license.\n Experience: 1-3 years of previous RN experience preferred.\n Skills:\n \n Familiarity with medical terminology preferred.\n Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential.\n Ability to work well within a collaborative care team.\n Flexibility to cover shifts 24/7 as needed.\n Willingness to float to other units as necessary.\n \n Certifications\n \n BLS/BCLS certification required.\n Equal Opportunity Employer\n We are an equal opportunity, affirmative action employer.
