Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Screening Records Specialist in Indianapolis, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by monitoring access points, screening personnel and property, and using X-ray equipment and computer systems to identify potential concerns. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with team members, and help maintain smooth operations. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and/or other authorized items entering designated logistics and distribution areas in accordance with site procedures. Monitor access points and verify credentials, documentation, and shipping-related authorizations as required. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting concerns through established communication channels. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, documenting observations and reporting irregularities. Minimum Requirements: Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. X-ray screening experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
