Our Counter Sales and Warehouse person is responsible for writing and developing sales at the sales counter and on the telephone, loading and unloading product for customers and inbound freight, put away and picking from warehouse stock, maintaining showroom and warehouse as clean, safe work environments. Engages in constant product knowledge development to improve up-selling and customer service. This individual is the face of customer service at the branch, offering friendly, professional advice and assistance, working with customers toward product-based solutions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist customers to make product choices
• Answer telephones and assist or direct calls to proper resource
• Take payment and handle refunds
• Maintain and restock showroom and POS displays
• Load customers, restock returns
• Receive inventory while organizing/maintaining warehouse as a clean and safe work environment
• Develop best-in-class customer service across all customer points of contact
• Performs other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience: High school or equivalent 2 years customer service preferred Forklift Certification, preferred Flooring industry experience preferred Excel, Word, Outlook

Additional Requirements: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship. This position is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
