As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication. You will deliver welcoming customer service while documenting activity and supporting store teams. What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail sales floor, stock areas, entrances and exits, and exterior perimeter to help deter theft and/or other unwanted activity. Monitor for suspicious behavior, potential policy violations, and loss prevention concerns, and report observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed. Complete required logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate status updates to management and/or dispatch per site procedures. Minimum Requirements CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
