Travel Audiologist Nurse in Binghamton, NY

This traveling opportunity is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with Audiology experience to support a small, close-knit department in a medical office building near major hospital campuses. The position operates Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., offering a consistent schedule and the chance to work with diverse patient populations including infants, pediatrics, and geriatrics.


Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive audiological evaluations and assessments.
• Collaborate directly with ENT providers and staff to develop patient care plans.
• Provide patient education and follow-up care.
• Support the care of patients across the lifespan, emphasizing infants, children, and elderly adults.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required; NYS license must be obtained by start date.
• Audiology certification or relevant clinical experience preferred.
• Experience working with infants, pediatric, and geriatric populations highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
• Comfortable working in a smaller, multidisciplinary medical office environment.

Location Overview: Situated in Binghamton, NY, this role is based in a medical office building conveniently located directly across from the city's largest hospital campus, including the NICU. Audiology services are positioned across the hall from ENT specialists, facilitating seamless collaboration. This position is travel-based, providing flexibility to relocate for the assignment. Candidates may be interviewed and offered the position prior to licensure but must have a valid New York State license upon starting.
