Senior Benefits Analyst

Job Description LHH Recruitment Solutions is representing a global organization located in the Kansas City area seeking to hire a skilled Senior Benefits Analyst to join its team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s North American benefits program and will play a key role in the annual open enrollment process. This is a full‑time, onsite position with some flexibility to work from home as needed. Key Responsibilities Oversee and administer the company’s benefits programs for the U.S. and Canada, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, welfare, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives. Lead the annual open enrollment process, including planning, communication, and system configuration. Serve as a subject matter expert on benefits‑related matters, providing guidance to HR, management, and employees. Ensure compliance with federal, state, provincial, and local regulations related to benefits administration, including COBRA, FMLA, ACA, and Canadian equivalents. Manage relationships with benefits vendors and brokers, ensuring optimal service delivery and cost‑effectiveness. Analyze benefits programs and make recommendations for improvements or changes based on market trends and employee needs. Conduct regular audits of benefits data and processes to maintain accuracy and compliance. Collaborate with payroll and HRIS teams to ensure seamless integration and administration of benefits programs. Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to ensure the company’s benefits offerings remain competitive and aligned with organizational goals. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in benefits administration, with a focus on North American (U.S. and Canada) benefits programs for a multilocation workforce. Solid understanding of benefits regulations, including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, IRC, ACA, HIPAA, DOL, and ADAA. Proven experience managing open enrollment processes and benefits vendors. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in HRIS systems and benefits administration software. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment. Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications Certification in Benefits (CBP, CEBS, or similar). Experience working in a global or multinational organization. Knowledge of wellness program development and implementation.
