We are actively recruiting for a Quality Control Inspector.Essential Job FunctionsRead blueprints, data, manuals, or other materials to determine specifications, procedures, and processesCollect or select samples for testing or for use as modelsInspect, test, or measure products and materials for conformance to specificationsUse measuring instruments, such as scales, micrometers, rulers, calipers, or gauges to measure dimensions of products and to verify conformance to specificationsCompare materials with samples to verify conformance to standardsComplete Attribute & Variable Data Sheets, which include recording of test data, weights, status, and quantitiesNotify supervisor about products, materials, or equipment not meeting specificationsRegularly communicate with management to ensure all guidelines are being metFollow standard work instructionsPerform other duties assignedOther Job FunctionsComply with FIC's Safety policies and proceduresComply with TS 16949 and ISO 14001 procedures and standardsPerform 5-S activitiesWork company required overtime, as neededRequirementsLevel 1Experience reading blueprints and using measuring tools1+ years' experience in Quality Control1+ years' experience in ManufacturingERP experience is preferredLevel 1 Pay Range $17/hour - $24/hourLevel 2Experience reading blueprints and using measuring tools3+ years' experience in Quality Control3+ years' experience in ManufacturingERP experience is preferredLevel 2 Pay Range $25/hour - $29/hourPay Range $17/hour - $29/hour based on qualifications and experienceLevel 1 $17/hour - $24/hour and Level 2 $25/hour – $29/hourAdditional Compensation We operate two shifts and 2nd Shift employees are given a $1/hour shift differentialBenefits OfferedMedical plans offered through Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Delta Dental, and VSP VisionFlexible Spending Accounts (FSA) Healthcare FSA, Dependent Care FSA, and Transit FSA401(k) – Company will match 50% of the first 6% you contribute to your 401(k)Basic Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability paid by employerOptional Supplemental Life Insurance and Long-Term Disability (Employee Paid)Vacation, Holiday, and Personal Days PaidAbout FIC America Corp.
