Commercial Sales Specialist

Myrick Recruiting LLC has partnered with an established and growing Propane company looking to hire a Commercial Sales Specialist in the Fredericksburg, VA area. Reporting to the Commercial Sales Manager, the Commercial Sales Specialist is responsible for building new customer accounts. Working within a defined Territory and/or Line-of-Business, the Commercial Sales Specialist will market and sell Propane products and services to new customers to successfully achieve predefined sales goals and objectives. What you’ll do: Prospect, research and identify new business opportunities and work the sales plan to create awareness, discover customer needs and deliver product and service solutions. Initiate and lead the sales cycle/process as a subject matter expert and act as the customer’s key contact and resource. Build strong business relationships with prospective customers and manage the sales funnel/cycle by continually following up on their current business needs and anticipating future business needs. Prepare and confidently present sales proposals, including pricing and product/service terms, to key decision makers. Influence, negotiate and close the sale with the best interest of the company and the customer in mind. Collaborate with and engage the Regional Leadership Team to ensure the needs of the customer can be and will be met. Communicate regularly and prepare reports on key performance indicators and communication on sales progress within the sales funnel/cycle and achievements. Intimately know customer base and area activity and utilize information and data to capitalize on sales opportunities and recommend sales strategies. Resolve any issues as they arise and involves subject matter experts and key decision makers as needed to remove obstacles. Own the account from prospecting through to ongoing account management. What you’ll need: Three (3) to five (5) years of sales experience is an asset Knowledge of propane industry is an plus Strong focus on new business development Exceptional customer service skills and relationship management skills Business acumen, financial and analytical skills Knowledge of propane or oil & gas industry is an plus #J-18808-Ljbffr Myrick Recruiting, LLC
