Position Overview

Join a team of imaging specialists dedicated to delivering compassionate health care as a Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist. You will utilize leading-edge ultrasound technology to carry out diagnostic procedures, partner with a collaborative clinical team, and provide patients peace through timely and accurate imaging assessments.

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound examinations including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, explaining each process with empathy and precision
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic images are produced
• Efficiently operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Thoroughly document processes and manage patient records in the electronic medical system
• Stay informed on advancements in ultrasound techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a similar field
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is desirable
