Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (18:45–07:15) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in an acute care operating room setting, including trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic surgical cases
• Adapt to variable shift start times and participate in on-call rotation, distributed equally among nursing staff approximately every 6 weeks, which may include up to 6–8 shifts per 6-week period across nights, evenings, and weekends
• Float between like units within the facility or to nearby affiliate facilities as needed
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Participate in weekend coverage as required and be willing to work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience, with demonstrated experience in trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic surgery
• Valid, active California RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
• Current BLS certification
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Willingness to fulfill on-call, weekend, and holiday requirements
• Submission of 2 references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care OR setting
• Familiarity with floating between units or sister facilities
