POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Butcher to join our team at Rokka's Market in Orlando, FL. The ideal candidate will have a passion for crafting high-quality meat products and providing excellent customer service. As a Butcher, you will be responsible for cutting, trimming, and boning meat, as well as preparing attractive meat displays and maintaining food safety standards. You will work closely with customers to discuss cuts and ensure their satisfaction. This position requires attention to detail, strong knife skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Cut, trim, and bone meat
• Weigh, price, and package meat
• Prepare meat displays
• Maintain food safety and hygiene standards
• Reduce waste
• Discuss cuts with customers
• Maintain business records and budgets
• Process live animals
• Prepare meat for special displays or delivery
• Shape, lace, and tie roasts and other meats

QUALIFICATIONS:

• +2 years of experience as a butcher

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Hourly Range: $13 - $15 based on experience
