Perform data entry and accounting services. 5-7 years payroll processing experience required. Extensive payroll experience in a fast-paced, multi-state, demanding environment is needed. Comprehensive knowledge of wage and hour laws, garnishment laws, and taxability of wages. CPP or FPC preferred but not required.**Responsibilities may include:*** Lead daily, biweekly, and special payroll processes for multi-state payroll for Us non-exempt and exempt employees.* Process payroll for up to 500\* employees* Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports.* Maintain payroll control records* Provide guidance to the team on payroll processing, tax laws, garnishments, system issues and general troubleshooting in payroll.* Assist with mentoring of payroll specialists and as a backup for their duties.* Work with the team to research and respond to escalated employee inquiries.* Authorizes, reviews, and prepare complex payroll transactions.* Assist with final payroll check calculation review* Perform adhoc projects as needed* Assist in month/quarter/year-end close* Completes verification of employment verifications, garnishments, and EDD notices as needed.* Provide support to managers and employees with Workday’s time tracking and absence modules* Back up for payroll transmit.* Exemplifies professionalism* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail**Knowledge and Skills Required to be successful:*** UKG* Workday* High proficient in excel (vlooks, pivot tables, and formulas)* Ability to work in a fast paced and high volume environment.* Associate degree preferred#LI-MB1The estimated pay range stated represents the typical pay range for this position or similarly employed employees or employees performing substantially similar work.
