Job Responsibilities
  • Create Custom Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and craft personalized therapy approaches that help them meet their functional objectives.
  • Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based methodologies to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.
  • Guide Patients and Families: Educate patients and caregivers on therapy strategies to promote sustained progress in their everyday lives.
  • Track and Evaluate Patient Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as needed to ensure patients remain on track with their rehabilitation.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Encouragement and support for ongoing education or post-graduate certifications
Certifications
  • Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
