Job Responsibilities
- Create Custom Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and craft personalized therapy approaches that help them meet their functional objectives.
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based methodologies to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living capabilities.
- Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.
- Guide Patients and Families: Educate patients and caregivers on therapy strategies to promote sustained progress in their everyday lives.
- Track and Evaluate Patient Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as needed to ensure patients remain on track with their rehabilitation.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Encouragement and support for ongoing education or post-graduate certifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
- A genuine passion for assisting others in achieving their fullest potential for independence
