OT - Occupational Therapist

Occupational TherapistThis is a 13-week contract position.Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with potential weekend shifts as needed.We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our Acute Rehabilitation Unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in an acute rehabilitation setting, although candidates with backgrounds in skilled nursing facilities or outpatient care will also be considered. This position is focused on delivering high-quality patient care through evaluations, treatment planning, and therapy interventions.Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.Implement therapy interventions to enhance patient recovery and promote independence.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.Educate patients and their families regarding therapy protocols and home exercises.Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:Applicants must be licensed occupational therapists in the state.
