As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff at a healthcare treatment location by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, behavioral concerns, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, support entry procedures, and report unusual conditions, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate site personnel. Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent. Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience. A state, county, or city-issued security‑related license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
