Manager, Advanced Analytics, Commercial Analytics

DescriptionThis role will lead the administration, configuration, management, and implementation of the enterprise⁃wide Data Platform. This includes the configuration, collection, and analysis of social impact and sustainability data from across brands, regions, and functions to support strategic planning, goals tracking and internal/ external reporting.Key Responsibilities:Serve as lead systems administrator of ELC's Data PlatformSystems management/ maintenancePerform regular administrative maintenance of the Data PlatformOnboard and train new usersSupport establishment and oversee ongoing governance of the platformCollaborate with team members to implement controls enhancementsIdentify and implement enhancements to optimize platform functionalityCreate and update system configuration to facilitate data collection for newly established goals, programs, or workstreamsCollaborate closely with data owners in the brands, regions and functions to establish robust data collection functionality and data verification/ assurance capabilitiesPerform analyses and create dashboards and reports based on requests from SMEs, brands, regions, and functionsDevelop a strategic view for how the Data Platform can be leveraged and evolved over time to deliver more value across the organizationWork with relevant in⁃scope areas on project planning, and agree on timeline and specific outcomesSupport internal and external reporting and disclosureContribute to the annual data collection and verification process for ELC's enterprise ReportContribute to data collection for internal quarterly reporting on progress towards digital GoalsQualifications5+ years data management and analytics experience working within a sustainability/ corporate responsibility department or similar role in the private sector3+ experience in project management and / or serving as an administrator for data platforms and / or software systems (Sphera Cloud Corporate Sustainability preferred), for example: including assigning user roles, building data collection forms and dashboards, generating reports, and conducting analysesVery strong technical skills in SQL, Python, GCP, DatabricksExperience with Looker, Power BI, and data visualization is a plusHighly organized, detail⁃oriented, and analytical, can synthesize information and offer recommendations/ solutionsAble to work across cross⁃functional teams, high level of comfort within a matrixed environmentCreative & resourceful, can operate with limited resources and find innovative solutions to deliver on business needsWorks quickly and efficiently with a consultant mindset, anticipates and meets deadlinesIntellectual flexibility and inquisitiveness, can manage several projects at a timeExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Collaborative and team player mindset, good listener and builder of strong relationshipsProficient in Microsoft office applications: Teams, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, etc.Remains calm under pressureBrand:Estée Lauder CompaniesJob Function:Business Intelligence & AnalyticsJob Sub-Function:Data Analytics & Business IntelligenceAssignment Category:Fulltime-RegularDepartment:Business Intelligence & Analytics
