Warehouse Coordinator/Warehouse Clerk Location: Romeoville, Illinois Ryder is hiring a Warehouse Coordinator/Warehouse Clerk in Romeoville, Illinois – offering weekly pay and excellent benefits. Pay Hourly Pay $24.00 per hour Additional Pay: $2.50 per hour shift pay for night shift Schedule: Sunday–Tuesday 6:00 pm–6:00 am; Wednesday 6:00 pm–12:00 am Benefits Weekly pay Paid training and support Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) – starts at 30 days Paid time off 401(k) company match Employee stock: 15 % discount Discounts on tools, cars, hotels, electronics, cell phones, travel Safety gear provided Continuous improvement focus Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred Experience as a clerk in a warehouse/distribution environment (transportation coordination, inventory, shipping/receiving, coordination with carriers, vendors, customers) Ability to make quick, reliable decisions representing both the customer and Ryder Strong written, organizational, and verbal communication skills Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Knowledge of WMS systems preferred Experience operating forklift equipment preferred Equipment certification may be required Responsibilities Perform administrative tasks for area or shift; maintain filing systems and documents per SOP Generate daily, weekly, or monthly reports, memos, and summaries of a technical and/or confidential nature Coordinate activities with clerks from other areas, customers, and providers Recognize, resolve, and correct discrepancies relating to warehouse, transportation, and inventory Gather from and provide information to employees pertaining to support areas Use the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to update area or shift metrics as needed Depending on location, may be required to operate equipment and be equipment certified Perform additional duties as assigned; overtime as needed Ryder is an Equal Opportunity Employer and a drug‑free workplace.
