Job Title: HR Administrator
Company: Kelly Services (at Fiberglass Insulation Plant)
Location: On-site, Kansas City, KS 66115
Employment Type: Full-time Contract (Day Shift, 7a-3p Central)
Pay Rate: $28/hour
Contract Duration: 4-6 months, possibility for extension

Role Overview:
Kelly Services is seeking an HR Administrator to support the Kansas City insulation plant in multiple HR functions. You will play a critical role in administrative effectiveness, employee engagement, and supporting the facility’s expansion. If you thrive on challenges, teamwork, and creating impact, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
HR Management

• Maintain employee records and new hire process documentation
• Ensure compliance with file retention programs
• Process new hires and I-9 documentation
• Manage onboarding and pending hires
• Track and report key HR metrics
• Administer employee badges

Employee Compensation and Benefits

• Assist employees with direct deposit and benefit enrollment
• Support benefit education and inquiries

Recruitment and Onboarding

• Communicate staffing needs, schedule interviews
• Assist with pre-hire and onboarding processes
• Handle orientation logistics and account creation

UKG Hourly Payroll

• Support weekly payroll and daily timecard review
• Assist employees with UKG mobile access
• Communicate attendance/vacation status with supervisors

Employee Engagement & Recognition

• Support initiatives to build a culture of appreciation
• Assist in employee engagement and external partnerships

Training and Development

• Provide administrative support to T&D team

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• 2-3 years HR experience (preferred)
• Authorized to work in the U.S
• Manufacturing experience (preferred)
• Payroll system experience (strongly preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel & Outlook)

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Able to handle confidential information
• Collaborative team player; empathetic, committed, and curious
• Comfortable working with employees at all levels
