Registered Nurse – Acute Care of Elderly

Schedule:

• Nights - 12HR: 7P-7A / 7A-7P rotation
• 36 and 48 hours per week available
• 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend

Assignment Details:

• Contract Duration: 16 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:

• Active NY RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• 1 year recent experience in acute med surg/tele
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including assessment, intervention, and evaluation
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and care
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the healthcare team

Compliance / Notes:

• Must be flexible according to the needs of the facility's schedule
• Must work at least 1 holiday per contract
• Block booking may be requested but is not guaranteed
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
