The Personal Excellence Academic Knowledge (PEAK) school psychologist will work in a strong and collaborative team environment in partnership with other PEAK para educators, special education teachers, and interns in a center-based environment. Students served through PEAK programming benefit from affective needs instruction, trauma responsive care, social communications activities, restorative practices, and behavioral dysregulation interventions. The PEAK school psychologist will support a range of social, emotional, and behavioral interventions and strategies designed to support students with serious emotional disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and/or low-cognition, but may present with other educational disability areas. The school psychologist will work with students with delays that are significantly affecting social, verbal, and/or non-verbal communication interactions, in combination with challenging behaviors.

Qualifications and Expectations:

• Ph.D. or Ed.S. in school psychology plus additional coursework required for certification or licensure
• Valid Colorado Special Services Provider License endorsed in area of assignment: School Psychologist
