• All phases of Automotive Repairs and Maintenance
• Good knowledge of automobiles
• Ability to identify problems quickly
• Effective analytical and communication skills
• Good reading, computer, and mathematics skills
• Performing work specified on the repair order with efficiency
• Diagnose and Repair Emission Failures, Engine Repair and Tune Up, Tire Services
• Timing Belts, Transmission and Engine Replacements,
• Steering and Suspension Service, Brake Service and ABS Diagnosis and Repairs, etc.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
• Interaction between employees and/or customers; explaining diagnosis and needed repairs as required to assist service writer and/or clarify for customers

Qualifications and Skills

• Detail-oriented and ability to follow direction.
• Ability to reach, lift and carry 20-75 lbs.
• Ability to stand or walk entire shift.
• ASE Certification(s) a plus
• NC State Inspections Certification (a plus!)

Requirements

• Must have valid driver's license (no exceptions)
• Must have own tools
• Pay based on experience
