Lube Technician

Exceed customers’ expectations of service while attending to service and repair demands in a professional manner. Position requires written explanations of services performed clearly documented for every vehicle. Duties and Responsibilities : Consult with shop foreman/shop manager and read work orders to determine work required. Follow checklists to ensure that all critical parts are examined. Order parts needed for repairs/services. Perform basic lube oil and filter services as directed. Perform other basic preventive maintenance duties as assigned. Legibly and accurately record services performed, time accrued and parts used. Inform Foreman when job is complete. Maintain a clean and safe work area and adhere to safety protocols. Duties may include cleaning shop, emptying trash cans, assisting other technicians when required. All other duties as assigned. Attend & complete required technical training programs and schools as required. Qualifications: Previous Lube Technician experience preferred. Basic knowledge and skills required to perform preventive maintenance on medium-duty trucks. Computer knowledge, basic keyboarding skills, and ability to read and write in English. Possess basic hand and/or power tools Have a valid driver’s license, maintain a good driving record, and be able to get a medical card per DOT guidelines. Physical Demands : Must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb up/down ladders, in/out of vehicles and use power and hand tools.
