Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Pay: $24–$27/hr DOE
Job Type: Full-Time | Long-Term
We are currently hiring experienced MIG Welders for full-time positions in North Portland and Downtown Vancouver. If you have recent hands-on welding experience and take pride in producing quality work, we want to hear from you!
Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent MIG welding experience
- Strong hands-on welding skills
- Experience with MIG and TIG welding
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Must be able to perform a welding test on-site
- Ability to work safely and follow established procedures
- Must be comfortable wearing required PPE
Job Duties
- MIG and TIG welding on a variety of metal products
- Weld products including truck beds, aluminum tool cases, and metal components for large vehicles
- Complete joints, repairs, and weld assemblies
- Operate welding equipment and other shop tools
- Inspect completed welds for quality, strength, and integrity
- Identify and repair welding defects when necessary
- Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Wear all required protective equipment while welding
This is a hands-on welding position. Recent welding experience is required. Candidates must be able to successfully complete an on-site welding test.
