Senior Supplier Quality Engineer - Casting & Machining

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) with strong expertise in casting and machining , especially aluminum castings.
Work closely with suppliers to resolve quality issues and support new product development and production .
Frequent travel to supplier locations is required.

Key Responsibilities

Lead supplier quality activities for casting and machined components .
Drive APQP, PPAP, and Engineering Change Management at supplier locations.
Resolve supplier quality issues and improve process capability .
Support NPD, product launches, and ramp-up activities.
Conduct supplier audits, assessments, and continuous improvement activities.
Drive CAPA/corrective and preventive actions and ensure sustainable improvements.
Act as the technical interface between suppliers, manufacturing, and engineering teams .
Provide practical, shop-floor-level technical solutions to suppliers.

Required Technical Skills

Strong hands-on experience with casting processes .
Aluminum casting experience, especially:
- HPDC High Pressure Die Casting
- LPDC Low Pressure Die Casting
- Sand Casting
Experience with machining of engineered components .
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality management systems .
Supplier Quality Management experience.
Knowledge of structured problem-solving methodologies .
Strong APQP, PPAP, supplier audit, and CAPA experience.

Experience & Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline Mandatory .
7 10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, supplier quality, operations, or quality engineering.

Other Requirements

Proactive, energetic, and results-oriented.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Willingness to travel frequently to supplier locations.
Open to domestic and international travel .
