Systems Engineer

Senior Systems EngineerINflow Federal is seeking a experienced, self-motivated Senior Systems Engineer to work on a multi-disciplinary team in an Agile, fast-paced development environment. The qualified candidate will support the development and implementation of a Space Ground mission-focused software cloud application. In this position, you'll design, secure, and manage mission-critical systems that power defense innovation - from hardened Linux environments to multi-platform authentication domains. Your work will directly contribute to safeguarding classified operations while ensuring seamless system performance and compliance with top-tier cybersecurity standards.Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. Please note that this position is contingent upon contract award.Required Skills:Experience with TCPED processes, practices and tools at the IC and/or COCOM level, focusing on tasking and collection (strong preference for SIGINT)Understanding of User Interface design and development practicesExperience with Government contracting for the Space market to include Ground Processing, Command and Control and/or Intelligence SystemsExperience working on-site with customers and end users in the DoD and/or Intelligence CommunityExperience with Agile management tools (e.g., Jira, etc.)Experience with UML/SysML modeling tools such as MagicDrawExperience with configuration management tools (e.g. Subversion, Git, etc.)IC3 experience preferredExperience with DevSecOps tools and processesExperience with Cloud computing environments ( e.g., AWS, Azure)Knowledge of open, standards-based architectures, interfaces and geospatial dataDesired Skills:Proficient in requirements identification, analysis, documentation, and trackingProficient analyzing customer needs, and identifying user stories and technical tasks to achieve various Agile objectives and iterative development schedulesProficient in statistical analysis methods and toolsExperience with system integration and test on a UNIX or Linux platformTeam player with a proactive attitude and the ability to be productive in a dynamic/collaborative environmentMotivated self-starter with good problem solving skills, judgment, and analytical capabilityAbility to develop improved methods to increase program efficiencyDemonstrated leadership skills (supervisory experience, building teams, mentoring, building customer relationships)Ability to negotiate effectively with higher level managers, functional managers, customers, industry partners, and teammatesStrong oral and written communications skillsGood planning and organizational skillsExperience & Education Requirements:Bachelor of Science degree in engineering/technical discipline8+ years related experience or equivalent experience, training and/or certificationsClearance Requirements:Active DoD Top Secret (SCI preferred)$140,000 - $220,000 a year Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
