This position is fully remote, providing you with a flexible work schedule while maintaining connections with a multidisciplinary team of educators, therapists, and mental health professionals. You will primarily engage with students in a virtual school setting, providing crucial support and interventions tailored to educational contexts.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students displaying a variety of emotional and behavioral challenges to develop targeted, individualized treatment plans.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual and group therapy, to support students’ mental health and social skills development.

• Collaborate effectively with educators, occupational therapists, and speech therapists to create a comprehensive approach to student care and support successful integration into the school environment.

• Facilitate psychoeducational sessions for students and families that enhance understanding of mental health issues and available resources.
\n
• Deliver crisis intervention responses during mental health emergencies and provide ongoing support for students in distress.
\n
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all case files, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with all relevant legal and ethical standards.

• Actively participate in team meetings and ongoing staff development initiatives to continually enhance your practice and peer collaboration.

• Stay informed about current laws, regulations, and best practices concerning mental health in educational settings.

This role centers on supporting students with complex needs resulting from ASD, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, ADHD, and trauma. Your work will be vital in assisting these students in overcoming personal barriers and achieving their academic and emotional potential.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
\n
• Current and valid LCSW licensure is essential for this role, allowing you to practice in Nevada.

• A comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and a trauma-informed approach is necessary.

• Proven skills in conducting mental health assessments and developing effective treatment strategies.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to deliver individual and group therapy across various therapeutic approaches.

• Strong crisis intervention skills and the capacity to remain composed in high-pressure situations.

• Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.

• Two years of post-licensure experience in a school or educational setting is preferred.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and comprehensive documentation practices.
