Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to the unique needs of students.

• Collaborate with teachers, school administrators, and parents to develop comprehensive support plans for students experiencing mental health challenges.

• Assess students' mental health needs through interviews and standardized assessments to formulate individualized treatment plans.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of students.

• Offer psychoeducation to students and families regarding mental health resources, coping strategies, and community support services.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress, treatment interventions, and outcomes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in professional development activities to remain current with best practices and innovative approaches in social work and mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on supporting the mental health of children and adolescents in a school setting. You will work directly with students from diverse backgrounds, including those facing challenges related to trauma, anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and learning difficulties. Your skills in developing trusting relationships will be crucial in helping students navigate their emotional landscapes and achieve academic success.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Nevada.

Compensation and Benefits\n
